    I would rather die a million painful deaths then have the lap band put back in! :angry I had to have three surgeries because of the lap band. I have the lap RNY and it feels and works so much better.:clap2: Thats just my honest opinion. Also the pain really isn't that much worse then the banding. Take care!:confused: T

    I had mine for over two years. Had a slippage about a year out and had it repaired. I constantly had reflux and had to have it removed on May 11, 2006. At the time of removal I had the RNY-lap. I have lost more with the RNY in 7 weeks then I lost with the band in over two years. It has been a long journey that is far from over. Also I never had reflux before the band and since the RNY I no longer have it. Tonia

    I've heard of this happening before. You probably need to be on an IV because your stomach is so swollen. It may need extra time healing and the throwing up only makes it worse. When you can't even get a teaspoon down there is something wrong. Please call your doctor. It is better to be safe than sorry.
