I will say once you get past the 3 rd day it seems a little better. My big day is Thursday! Woohoo. I am sure I won't be Woohooing Thursday night. Lol. Good luck to everyone!

I hope the next 3 days go by fast! Ready to on with it even thought I know the next several week will be hard! But that's ok... I have seen the results first hand!

Can't believe that my surgery date is this week... the 22nd. Wow! Didn't know if this day would ever come. When I started the process in late Jan. overall it has gone smooth. I have been waiting for someone to call and say... Oh we need this or the insurance made a mistake. Everyone else out there.... good luck and nothing but positive thoughts! (: (:

Yes it is interesting seeing all the different preops requirements. So far it hasn't been to bad. Went tanning today to help the motavation..... Should be a different summer this year. WooHoo!!!

Hello everyone March 22 is my big day... Looking so forward to summer this year. I know nothing but positive things in the future! This is my third day of preop diet. Have my moments but it's not to bad. (:

I am on day 3 of liquid diet. My daughter was banded almost 2 years ago and has done awesome. I was under the impression that high Protein also help your recover afterwards. Looks like all the doctors have different ways to do it. Good luck everyone! Terri

Hello Eveyone. Went yesterday to the doctor and they set my date which is March 22...Woohoo! So I start my preop diet in the morning. Waiting to hear back from my test to make sure that all turned out well. So ready to get this on the road..... Can't wait to start seeing the scales go down. It shoud be great summer. Hello Everyone, I received notice last week that my insurance approved me. YEA!!! I go tomorrow to run my test and start my preop diet. So my surgery should be the week of the 19th, find out tomorrow. Hope all goes well...always afraid something will come up and delay or cancel it. THINK POSITIVE! Right? My daughter had her almost 2 years ago, even though she was right on the border line it has changed her life. Also getting rid of an extra 220 (husband) helped also. So with that I feel like I know pretty much what to expect so I am soooo ready to get back to what I use to be...active and feeling good!
