  1. Came down with a bad stomach virus. Vomiting profusely. It all happened so fast that I was unable to get nausea meds. I have now stopped vomiting..but my back and chest area is hurting. I feel like someone punched me in the stomach. I am still able to drink liquids and eat small amounts of jello. Don't even want to think of food. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Could this pain be from swelling of my stomach?. Does anyone know how long this pain usual last (days, weeks)? I have a call into the Dr.'s office but they haven't called me back yet. Had plenty of stomach viruses before my lap band, but never had lingering pain like this.
