  1. I'm in the same boat. Hungry, hungry, hungry. I was sleeved 1-25-12 and am still on my liquid diet. However, I have been eating chips at night before bed for the past three nights. I hate how hungry I am. I hate the head hunger. I hate reverting back to my old eating patterns less that 4 weeks out.
  2. Thanks for your responses. They are helpful. I had a BMI of 31. My doctor used the word "cosmetic" and stated that it was not medically necessary for me to have the surgery. He says that it is generally referred to as cosmetic if you have less than a 35 BMI. I went ahead with the surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. I am feeling better, but not great. I absolutely CANNOT get my protein down. I don't regret my decision, but I also see people losing weight much faster than me and seeming to do better than I am. It made me wonder about the BMI thing.
  3. Has anyone out there chose a sleeve with a lower starting BMI (30-35)?
  4. Best thing I've done in the past six days was to post this. Thank you for all your support.
  5. I did get a prescription, but I stopped taking it because I felt so nauseous when I took the medication.
  6. I am six days post op and panicked about my decision. I had my surgery on 1-23-12. I am nauseous. I have heart burn. I am having difficulty sleeping due to discomfort. I think the worst part is that I am hungry. I am on a liquid diet for four weeks. I'm not getting enough protein down. I can't stomach the drinks. They make me gag and my stomach feels upset afterwards. I don't know how I am going to survive this faze and I'm scared my symptoms aren't going to go away. Help.
