Thank you. yea still at hospital, here for 2 nights. Should be out early morning. Doing lots of walking for gas pain.

Had surgery, have some gas pains. This was tougher than I thought it was going to be. But now feeling better after getting some water and broth. What really help: biotene for dry mouth, walking and to pee put my tounge on top of roof of mouth. Someone mentioned that on the forums here. Thanks all for the replies.

Laying in bed, can't sleep. Excited about tomorrow. Survived clear liquids diet today, that was rough. hoping that I wont be in too much pain after. And hoping that I wake up from the surgery. Knock on wood.

Two more days, to go . Tomorrow is clear liquids only, then Saturday is the big day!

Hi Yes I am having the surgery at Valley, with dr. Gritsus.

I am only nervous about what I am going to eat... not the actual surgery. when shopping during lunch hour and it seems like everything is the stores are high sugar, high carbs, I have to shop super slowly to read all the labels to find the no sugar stuff. specailly since never shopped for those items before, so used just picking out the usual stuff. so of course I didnt buy anything because it was taking to long.. gonna have to go after work. on top of everything I am usually a picky eater.. my main food source is BREAD!.. so not sure how I am going to choose better options. I dont really like yogurt and veggies.. so will see. just venting a bit.. I am freaking out

Glad to hear that everyone is doing great, I just had my EKG today and blood work. Can't wait for Saturday, surgery day. Lost another 2 lbs (preop)

Hi, just wondering how everyone is doing? I am getting sleeved next weekend the 22nd, felling nervous and anxious. Good news I have lots about 10lbs (pre-op).

True... Good advice. I am just sick of being called "fat". Even behind my back. LoL

So at work there is a "click" of 4 women that talk **** about me behind my back. They refer to my as "fatty" when they talk about me. "I have a spy as one of the girl, LOL this is how I know". I can't freaking wait to get this surgery so I can loose all this weight and be like Who is "fatty" now biatches!!!! sooooo.... sick of them!

do I need to fast for the lab work? does anyone know.. I forgot to ask... Jen

I am getting sleeved on the 22 :-) I just found out today that I got approved. I am in NJ. I only need to do liquid the night before, but was planning on doing liquids the entire week before surgery.

Can someone loose weight after the sleeve if they are lazy and dont like excerise?

I had my last weight in last week, the doc gave me a prescription to get the EKG and other lab work done. I am not sure when I am supposed to get this work done. Do I need to wait to get a Date first??? and then schedule it. When did you guys had your Labs and EKG done? TIA Jenny

So happy finally went to my first consultation, so I can get this process started. I was so nervous but it was easy and simple. was told only 3 month weight in for insurance so was happy about that. Can wait already to go back.

Feeling anxious.. I had my first seminar, last week only to find out a few days later that my insurance wont cover that doctor because they only cover certain hospital/association. So I found another Doc that the insurance will cover. The seminar is next week and I am wishing it was sooner.... so feeling very anxious to get the process started because I know it takes time before, I can get the surgery. And on top of everything, the hospital/Doc is an Hour away!!!! so this whole process will be a pain due to all that travel I have to do. Did anyone had to travel over an hour to go to your surgeon? Jen
