  1. So last Monday I went in for my first fill since 2009. I was sooo nervous about completely starting over. My office visit was great. My new physician was amazing; a complete opposite of the my surgeon. I did great with my diet last week and so I decided to get on the scale this morning and GUESS WHAT?????? 5.6lbs GONE I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Starting over feels so good!!!
  2. This blog sounds like me also. I have to convince myself daily that I am not a failure. I actually got banded 3 years ago and fired my surgeon shortly after (poor choice of doctors); however I'm starting over and it feels great. Everyday is one day at a time. I began to blog for the support and day by day, it's getting a little better. I've learned that there is a substitute for every craving, find your fix, you would also be surprised how soon those cravings go away if you just ignore them.
  3. Thanks for the advice guys. I am sooo looking forward to this and can use all the support in the world. I stepped my meals up and so far so good. Better days ahead
  4. Hi Everyone. I'm new to the blog but not to the band. In Feb 2009, I was banded, 1 week later, I found out I was pregnant. Baby came in October, Surgeon was "disgusted' that I did not lose but 30lb while I was pregnant, was rude and had terrible bedside manner..... Long story short, I KICKED HIM TO THE CURB. Since 2010, I had not seen anyone about my band ( gained 20lbs back). This year I wanted something new, so I did some homework and found a wonderful doctor who has taken over my care. She has given new hope. I went to see her to discuss everything and make sure I was in good hands and yesterday I recieved my first fill since 2010. 3cc. I ate clear liquids yesterday and today. I'm terrified to move forward. I have a lump in my throat( probably fear)........ Any suggestions/advice on how to move forward?? After my situation, I just want to be sucessful
