  3. Anyone having luck using weight watchers with the band? Im thinking of trying weight watchers online and would like some feedback before I spend all that money! Also does anyone use weight watchers on thier smart phone and how do you like it? Thanks Laura

  5. I had to stay overnight. I was told that from the begininng. which was fine because like Cynesra I live 3 hours from my doctor. I did have to go to the ER where i had my surgery 3 days later due to the fact i couldnt keep anything down, not even water. they removed the "primer" fluid from my band and im alright now. then again they wanted me to stay due to the fact i was dehydrated, but i didnt i figured i could drink and keep it down id be fine and I am. Good luck to you both!
  6. I do have to say that whole grain pasta isnt the SAME but if you get the right kind its not bad. I use to eat the barilla whole grain before lapband and im hoping to eat it when im allowed again. Not sure what kind you purchased. Good Luck!

  9. I came home lastnight, against medical advice. They removed 2 cc's of fuild from my band. I felt better instantly. They wanted me to stay because I was dehydrated. I figured now that I could drink I didnt need to stay with an iv.
  10. Im home. They removed 2 cc's of fluid from my band. I felt better instanly. I was really dehydrated and they wanted me to stay but I decided to come home now that I can drink water!
  11. Headed to ER. Apperently they put primer fluid in my band and im not taking it well. Im having trouble swallowing and pain in my chest. They said its most def not gas or indigestion they want that fluid removed. Wish me luck.

  13. My doctor requires a one night stay. No complications or anything. Just had some issues with my pain button not working but the pain wasn't that bad!
  14. I'm officially banded! No gas pains just sore in one of the incisions. Boy I was scared for nothing!!! Just can't wait to go home tomorrow afternoon.

  18. Hello all! I am getting banded tomorrow! My doctor only requires a day before diet of just clear liquids. IM STARVING!!!! can someone help me out? any suggestions? Im drinking lots of water trying to fill myself up and sugar free popsicles. I have jello setting in the fridge. Thanks in advance!

  22. Feb 27th is the day I start my new life! I am excited but also a little nervous. Its taken me a year to get to this point. I've been searching online for blogs and/or recipe sites for bandsters. I have found a few and cant wait to hear any and all suggestions you guys will have! Thanks!
