It actually takes a few fills, a month apart each, to start eating tiny portions. Be patient and don't focus on all the weight coming off too fast because you don't want a lot of loose skin and unnecessary stretch marks.

I didn't cry at all after surgery, the pain was bearable as long as I stayed on my pain medication every 4-6 hours. Once, I was going outside the day after my surgery and I could only make it out to the porch and I got winded and had to sit back down. That was frustrating, but realistic. Good luck to you, it will get, better and you will get stronger!

It doesn't matter what surgery you have- Lap-Band, Gastric Bypass, or Sleeve. If you don't change your eating habits for a lifetime you will fail. If you're eating the wrong foods, drinking too much wine, and not taking the advice given then of course you didn't lose weight. The band is a tool, not a magic fix, and you still have to do the work in order to be successful with it.
Surgery can't fix our brains only we can do that for ourselves.
