  1. We just discovered Famous Dave's bbq less than a week before my wife got banded. It was an instant new favorite, but I wonder if she will ever be able to eat there again!
  2. FYI, the italics are just too hard to read.
  3. We have a friend who lost weight with the band but then started gaining weight. But he is the first to say "I learned that ice cream can slip right past the band!" He doesn't blame the band. He knows that HE is the problem.
  4. Coco, Your post is a perfect example. I don't know what "food getting stuck" means. What is "stuck"? How do you resolve it?
  5. Thanks for all the insights. One way I'm trying to support my wife is by learning about the journey so that when something unexpected happens, I'll be able to assure her that it is normal or point her in the right direction for more help getting through it.
  6. My wife just had her lap band surgery today. What should I know? Or to put it another way, what do you wish YOUR husband knew ahead of time? I want to be a supportive blessing to her.
