I am on day two of my boost with my surgery scheduled for next Tues 3/20. I am feeling a bit hungry but doing okay. I had a dream last night that stuffed a piece of ham in my mouth when I was making lunch for someone. I keep thinking of the outcome and know that is only a small part of my journey.
Nothing tastes as good as skinny will feel
I am starting my boost today, and I went a little crazy this weekend out to dinner Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I was told by my NP that this is very common and they call it Last Supper Syndrome. Don't get down on yourself, we are all in the same boat. Good luck to you
The amount of time you have to be on the shakes is based on your BMI. Sorry you are feeling quizzy just keep thinking about what you will look like as you loss your weight.
I am sure I will be feeling the same way.
Thank you Kelly, I also have a few people in the are that have had the surgery.
I start my boost on 3/10.
Looking forward to sharing this journey with you
Hi my name is Ann, I weigh 270 lbs and my Lap Band Surgery date is March 20th. I am trying to prepare myself mentally for the changes I expect in my life style. I am having my surgery at Stamford Hospital by Dr. Davis. I would love to loss 100 lbs but just being under 200 lbs would make me so happy.
I am a little nearvous about the liquid diet prior to surgery, but I am going into this with a positive mind.
Anyone else planning on being banded in March. It would be nice to have a little group of people going through all the same stages at the same time for support
