  1. Wow AprilS. How are you feeling? Did it take you long to decide if banding was right for you? Heart disease would be a major spur on I am guessing. It's what I want to avoid. What was your first appointment like with yr surgeon? X
  2. Hi. My GP has referred me for a band & my appointment is on the 23rd Feb. I have high BP & a back injury aggravated by my weight & I can only walk for exercise. I have no self control with food & am putting on 5kg a year. Have done ALL the pills & programs which work until I come off them - them bam - worse off. My question is - is there anyone out there that has been in the same situation as me? Did the surgeon recommend the band? Were you rejected? What happened. I am hoping it will be all good. Any info helpful. Thanks.
