NOOOOOOOOO!!! TRACY, YOU HAVE TO COME!!!!! How can we have a Violet get together without one of the Star Violets???????? The Bobster is not thrilled either.. He has a General Synod meeting in Grand Rapids that he wanted me to attend with him. But I said nope... I'm going to Alabama! Also my flute quartet wanted to change a gig date to the 25th and I said nope... I'm going to Alabama!! So that's the key. Just say... nope... I'm going to Alabama!!

And I didn't have ANY soy nuts for lunch today. I had them for breakfast though, with my tuna salad and mandarin oranges segments. I had a half slice of ham with a couple of spoonfuls of baked beans for lunch. I had a snack pack jello with fat free whipped cream and 1 liter of water so far today. I'm fixing an apricot glazed pork roast with sweet potatoes in the slow cooker today for supper. I have a meeting at 4 to go over music for Lent and a Dems meeting tonight at 7. Ethan is napping so it's very quiet in the house except for the gusts of wind out there. Snow is blowing all over the place. Our CPA stopped over with our tax forms today. It was good news for us. I would have been happy to break even, but we get $200 back from Federal and $1,000 back from State and our estimated quarterly tax payments for 2009 are cut by $400 per quarter. Wooo hoooooo!!

Well, Kaylie was here long before they were so she rules the roost. Kirby and Chippy sleep up by our heads between us and Kaylie sleeps on my hip or stomach or back depending on how I am laying. Chippy and Kaylie get along fine during the day, but Kirby will chase Kaylie whenever he sees her. Ethan just left for home with Jen so I have the afternoon off. I think I'm just going to veg out until time for choir.

Breakfast is done.. and no, no tuna. I had a scrambled egg with a slice of swiss cheese. PamELa..yup.. Kris is due on Ash Wednesday. It's my nephew's 9th birthday that day too. Hopefully she won't go much past that. She's so uncomfortable right now. We have a queen bed and it's just not big enough. But a King won't fit up our winding stairway. We used to have one at the parsonage and loved it. We have two yorkies and a cat that sleep with us. Jetta, the garage dog would if she could, but we make her stay on her bed on the floor at the foot of our bed. TracyinKS... you and Charles sound just like the Bobster and I. I can't stand to have my face covered and I usually have one leg sticking out from the covers every night. Kris and Nathan have a California King simply because he's 6'11" and he doesn't fit into any other size bed!! PamELa.. I swear by Royal Caribbean ships for your Alaska cruise, but that's just me. Good Morning, Violets.. Winter is back!! We got 3 inches of snow last night and it's still snowing. They are saying another 3 inches by tomorrow night. It's beautiful and covers up the yucky, dirty snow so I'll allow it! SuzieT... Kris is due next Wednesday. She's just home nesting now, really uncomfortable and bored. I keep telling her to enjoy this quiet time because in a little while she'll wonder when it will ever be quiet again. Ethan is here and of course is playing the Wii. He'll be here until about noon and then I'll have a little time to myself before choir this evening. Bob has his last class to teach today and then he can rest up too. It takes a lot out of him to prepare for these. Kat.. hope the news continues to be good today. I'm off to get dressed for the day. Everyone have a good one. BBL...

Thanks for the good news, Kat!!! What a relief! SuziT... Jen seems to be doing better. She is going to the doc for a follow up tomorrow and then will start back to work on Thursday. She sounded much better on the phone today. Now hopefully I can get back to concentrating on the new grand baby due in a week. Our church here in Alpena started Habitat in our town. We have about 15 Habitat houses in our small town. Did you hear that Millard Fuller recently died?? Sorry to hear about losing all that work. Will you be able to recreate it in time??
