He's approaching 13# and is already a month old!! Hard to believe the time flies so quickly. Hard to believe Laura is due anytime now. I'm so excited to meet Carson and get my "fix"!

Good Morning, Violets.. I got to sleep in until 9 this morning since Ethan didn't come until then and Bob was up to greet him. I still feel blah today, but I'm guessing it's because of the residuals of jet lag and feeling bloated from too many sweets on the cruise. I did fine with regular eating, but the desserts did me in. I'm back on track, but my jeans I wore all vacation are now not fitting so loose. I have not been on the scale and don't intend to until Friday. That will be my 2 year bandiversary. I'm going terra trikking today, FINALLY. We have sunshine and no snow on the roads and right now it's 38 degrees. Hopefully it will warm up to the upper 40's and I'll be on my way. Bob is going to take the yorkies and Ethan for a walk and I'll zip on by on my terratrike. Maundy Thursday services tonight and a Tre Ore service tomorrow. Off to shower and get dressed for the day. Just got a text from Suzie. Her internet is down and she wanted to say hi and that she'd be back whenever she can.

Good afternoon, Violets.. Yikes, PamELa.. I don't speak Spanish and I think I understood what you were saying!! Volunteer shift at the hospital was longggggggg today after being gone a week. I had tons of packets to make and there was a nurse's orientation so I had to weave my way in and out of people as I tried to do my job. Got home and Ethan was waiting for me. He'll be here till 5 tonight. I have choir at 6 and then out to eat with our friends Bill and Kathy. She went to the doc on Monday after her vacation. I'm anxious to see how she's doing with her most recent fill. I got my ring back from the jewelers today. It was sized down to a 5 and 3/4, but is still flipping around on my finger. I can't get it any smaller or it won't fit over my knuckle, but it's going to drive me nuts spinning like it does. And I haven't had my water pill yet, so when I have that, it will make it even worse. I'm thinking I should have just stuck with just the pendant, but the ring is really so beautiful. I finally got all my Hawaii pictures the way I wanted them at 1 this morning. I had put captions on them, but they didn't show up during the slideshow so I ended up copying, pasting and cutting on all the pics. Now I'm finally done and don't have to think about pictures for a long time. I'm still suffering from jet lag and Ethanitis. Just haven't had a day to really rest up from the trip. Kris and Grady came over yesterday so I got my Grady fix. I got to feed him a bottle of breastmilk and change his diaper. Kris went grocery shopping and I took care of Grady for her. Grandpa took him for a little bit, but Grady cried and cried. I took him (Grady, not Bob) and he calmed right down. Makes me feel good, but the Bobster was a little disappointed. Oh well, Grady will get used to the big guy soon. We're going over there for Easter. I'm bringing the ham. We'll also have cheesy potatoes and corn casserole. I'm off to the bank to cash a paycheck and get some crisp $10 bills to put in Easter cards. TracyinKS.. I agree with everyone's diagnosis. I try not to eat anything 3 hours before I go to bed. Otherwise I have problems with "back up". Certainly not like it was before band, but still a nuisance and uncomfortable. Sure wish I could swing going to the big party for Dr. Whatsherface. Think I could ask the bobster to postpone his birthday this year?? Yikes, not after all the good stuff he bought for me on the cruise. Catch ya'all later..

Good evening, Violets.. Well, I spent the day babysitting Ethan and working on the Hawaii pictures. I am FINALLY done. I had to load them to the computer, resize them and rename them all... all 450+ of them!! But they are done. The only bad part is I lost about 100 pictures of Kauai.. some great ocean shots and all the pictures of the Congregational churches we saw. sighhhh Can't do anything about it. they are lost forever. Nope..next trip is our yearly trek to Stratford, Ontario Canada to see a play and spend a long weekend. THEN it's the Alabama trip!!

Good morning, Violets.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh finally caught up on all the posts I missed. You ladies sure are a talkative bunch!!! I only sent a couple of pictures from my phone. I'm not real good about figuring it out. And there is no charge for the phone calls from Hawaii, Haydee. It's just like a regular phone call. That's why we didn't buy any internet time onboard the ship. We called home from every port. Things are going better at home with Joe and Jen so that was a nice thing to come home to. We have Ethan today and I'm really tired, but he will be picked up at 4 and then I'm taking a nap. The trip was awesome. The weather was a little cool, but we got a nice beach day in Maui and of course I got burned. It was the first day so by the end of the trip, I had a nice tan in several weird places. Bob got me a beautiful pendant of a hibiscus with a diamond in the middle and then when we broke open an oyster, there were two black pearls inside and he picked out a ring for me that uses one of the pearls and has two little diamond chips and a couple of golden leaves that wrap around it. I have a pic and will post that when I get the rest of the pictures done. The ship was great, the weather was great, the crew was great and the food was just too tempting. I did very well with the regular food... just a bite of this and a bite of that, but the desserts did me in. I had a couple of major PB'ing issues, but of course the flans and ice cream and cakes went down well.. not to mention the chocolate macadamia nut candies. But I'm back on the program today and not feeling any guilt at all. We had a SUPER time and it was a dream come true. We got to meet up with our friends in Kaua'i and they took us out to dinner for our anniversary. It was a beautiful restaurant that was all windows and looked out on the ocean. We watched the sunset and felt the ocean breezes through the open windows(walls). We went on excursions at every port so we were two tired puppies at the end of each day, but yes, DON'T READ THIS, MICHELLE... we got lei'd several times.. :eek::biggrin: The worst part was the trip home. We left the ship at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and arrived home last night at 11:00 p.m. Now that's a lONG trip for an old lady!! I'll be working on the pics this week and will try to get a link posted asap. MICHELLE.. you TV star!!! I just watched the video quickly and will watch it again and focus in to find the Mickey stuff. I'm so glad you and Haydee are going out to California to represent the Violets. If it wasn't Bob's birthday, I'd be headed that way too. Off to fix some lunch. Tuna and soy nuts are calling my name. I haven't had any in over a week!!

Good evening, violets!! We're back and exhausted, but we had an awesome vacation. I have tons of pictures and it will take me a couple of days to get them posted. I'm headed to bed and haven't read any posts yet. I'll catch up on that tomorrow too. It was wonderful, but soooooooo good to be home, even with the snow we're expecting tomorrow.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Good evening, Violets.. I'm typing on Bob's teeny tiny notebook. My fingers don't hardly fit on the keys and some keys are in different spots, but it's handy to stuff in my purse and will allow us to download our pictures off the camera to a flashdrive. We are getting up at 3:15 tomorrow morning and will be on the plane at 6:15 and then off to Hawaii. Everyone have a great weekend and week and I'll text when I can.

Good Morning, Violets.. This will be my last post from home. I'm all packed and just waiting for the dog sitter to get here so I can explain his duties to him. Then it's off to see Grady and then on our way to the hotel and then a shuttle to the airport in the early morning. I shall miss all of you and will check in via internet or text whenever I can. Everyone stay safe and happy!! I'm going to have a GREAT time and hopefully the Bobster will too..... yes, we're getting lei'd. Often. Everywhere. Somebody get Michelle. Good evening, Violets.. Last post of the evening for me. Joe is going to be staying here for the week. That's a relief for us worrying about the dogs, but not good for his marriage. Except that maybe a little time apart will be good for them. We're all packed and ready to head out tomorrow. I'll have all night to worry about what I've forgotten. I'll keep in touch via the phone and internet if we get it on the ship. It's very expensive and the phone calls are not , so it's a no brainer about internet usage. I'll catch up the trip count when I get back. Everyone have a great night. I'll post in the morning before we leave.

Good evening, Violets.. The good news is, I will survive. The bad news is... the bird didn't. We have lots of doves out back and one of them crashed into the window and bit the big one. The Bobster and I went out to eat and of course had lots to talk about. Funny how we didn't mention Hawaii once except to say this should have been our happiest meal in a while. I intend on having a great time and will deal with problems when we get back. As I said to Bob, Joe is 30 years old and an adult. He will have to solve his own problems. I can't solve them for him anymore. We leave around noon tomorrow after we give the dog sitter directions. We'll stop to see Grady and Kris and then be on our way. I will be able to text all along the way so I'll keep you all with me on the trip. Off to check on last minute packing items. BBL..

Good afternoon, violets.. Jen just came to pick up Ethan and she was in tears. Joe told her he was tired of her craziness and didn't love her anymore. She is digging into the info on him being unfaithful. She said if that is true she will separate from him. We said we would talk to Joe tonight, but that we couldn't do much as they were both adults and have to think of what is good for Ethan. Personally, I wouldn't mind them splitting up, I have never been comfortable with them being together. But it's not what I want. Ethan is the issue for me now. I am going on the trip tomorrow and try and forget about things for awhile. But I know it will be here when I get back and that's when it is going to get tough. Ethan and I went to Kris's and I got my Grady fix. He is 12# 4 oz. now and I got to rock him for a half hour and feel that baby skin and smell that baby smell. It is very therapeutic. Ok, this is not my day. A bird just crashed into the window. Gotta go see what happened.

Good morning, Violets.. It's been a bummer of a morning, so far. Joe announced as he dropped off Ethan that he and Jen will probably divorce. Seems she heard a rumor from a girlfriend that he slept around and even though he denies it, she'd rather believe the girlfriend. Sooooooooooooo just before the happiest trip of our lives, shit happens. We had to make other arrangements for dog care since we won't be able to depend on Joe or Jen to be thinking straight. I'm going to get my hair done and then taking Ethan to Kris's for the afternoon to get away. Bob will stay and do some last minute cleaning. And of course the cat barfed on the bed this morning, so we had to strip that and get the sheets in the wash. If it's not one thing, it's another. I'll check in tonight. I probably could use a good dose of purple power right now.
