Good Morning, Violets.. We got home at 1:30, in bed by 2 am and now up at 7 to get ready for church. There is a longggggggggg nap in my future this afternoon!! Annual Meeting after church today followed by a pot luck. I think I might skip the pot luck. I ate some junk yesterday and need to get back on track. I never seem to do well on the road, nor with my DD. We are each other's enablers! On the positive side though, I got a mini-trampoline from Dick's Sporting Goods that we'll set up this evening. I figure I can do that while I watch tv. My Richard Simmons DVD's arrived and I'm anxious to start that. DSIL and I worked out the two days we were at the hotel. Sure felt good and I know it helped with the guilt about eating birthday cake yesterday! We stopped at Red Lobster for dinner and I PB'd some of it, but of course not the warm chocolate chip cookie with melted chocolate in the middle topped with ice cream. sorry... forgot to warn about food porn. It was very yummy, but I'm thankful DD and I shared it instead of stuffing myself with all of it. My weight was up today, but I'm sure it will be back down by the middle of the week. I'm pumped to exercise now! Gotta go get dressed and ready for church. Everyone have a relaxing day! Catch ya later

Hi Violets.. I'm here at the Ramada. Free internet.. wooo hooo. DSIL and I just finished working out. I did 20 minutes on the bike and 10 on the treadmill. Now back to the room, shower and get some sleep before we have to be out of here at 8 to go see grandson's hockey game. We had chinese tonight. I ate half an egg roll and a cup of some veggie meat thingy. Bobster and I split it and 3/4 of it was still there to send home with DS. The Bobster is really doing much better on his eating. He's got a new resolve to lose and I'm so glad to see it. He was stuck in a rut like all of us and not losing. Everyone have a good evening... sleep well and make wise choices tomorrow!! Laura... you've made an amazing transfomation!! Michelle...you go girl!! I'm so proud of you!!

Evening, Violets.. It's me, the crispy haired hot tubber. Its 9 degrees out and 103 in the hot tub. Stars are out and it's beautiful out there. A cold bugger getting in, but soooooooo nice getting out. At least once the hair thaws out! We're headed downstate for granddaughter Mara's birthday this weekend. It's a 5 hour drive and DD and DSIL are going with us. They'll be driving so the bobster and I can read and sleep and act like the old farts. I will try and access the site at the hotel. We're going to grandson Everett's hockey game Saturday morning, then to Chuckie Cheese for lunch.hope there's something we can eat there! and then home Saturday evening. I'm headed to bed now. Everyone sleep well and make wise choices tomorrow!!

Good Morning, Green Violets... Personally for me, to be able to get in the tub and relax will be a NSV!! Having no shower is not a problem for me. I love the looks of the place and would hate to have Terry try and figure out another hotel. But I'l go with the flow!

Pssssssssssssssst, Suzie.. Trust me, I know. If you are absent from here, the Violets will come after you!!! You are not anywhere that we haven't all been as far as weight loss. I'm still going up and down, but I know I have good restriction and it's just head hunger that I'm dealing with. Just have to work that band and know that it isn't going to be the "easy way out" for weight loss. We're going to stuggle and we're going to slip into our old habits. But the good news is that the band is there to remind us and you are doing all the right things.. stepping up the exercise, increasing the water intake. You've lost an amazing amount already. You should be very proud!!! Plateaus are not for the weak..be strong, do what you know you have to do and you WILL succeed! There... end of my sermon!! I volunteer at the hospital once a week. I make up the patient education packets. Lots of collating, copying and stuffing of folders. I love it and they are always so appreciative there. Well, I'm in from the hot tub and still sitting in my wet bathing suit. DD is spending the night here as she has to be at the hospital for her clinicals at 6:30 and it's easier to go 3 minutes from here than the 35 minutes from her house. So I get to have my baby girl here on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for 5 weeks! Shhhhhhhhhhhh I tried on her jeans. Here's how crazy sizes are. I have been wearing size 18W jeans cause they are really comfortable and fit great. I tried on her 13/14's and they are really comfortable and fit great. Go figger!!! Everyone sleep well!!

Just finished 10 minutes on the bike, 10 minutes on the glider and I looked at the elliptical for a minute.. maybe tomorrow! I went online to buy the Richard Simmons Sweatin' to the Oldies DVDs at his site and they were $66.00 for a compete 5 DVD set. Went to Amazon and the same thing there is $35.00 Soooooooo ordered them from Amazon and will try and start up an exercise group at the church. I did that years and years ago....20 to be exact... when he first came out with the videos. We really had fun with it. There were about 6 people in the group. Maybe we can relive the glory days and get a group up and running again.

I sooooooo wish I had taken the time to write down the classics that I have heard. I think the best one was...One little girl teling me she had a secret to tell me. She said... "I'm getting a horse!". I asked how she knew that. She said cause she heard Daddy telling Mommy in the bedroom to ride that pony". Ok..... you can all wipe the spit from your monitors now. I had the same reaction.

Received this in the mail today from our United Church of Christ Women's Group. I collect angels and love kids so I thought it was pretty cute!! First you die, then you go to heaven. Then there's flight training to go through and then you have to agree to wear angel clothes. ***What I don't get about angels is why, when somebody is in love, they shoot arrows at them.
