  1. Anyone out there with BCBS of Illinois through Local One? I'm just wondering what hoops you had to jump through.
  2. Hi, I'm totally new to this. I have some pretty bad medical conditions and I am thinking about having this done. My right carotid artery is 100% blocked and I have a new stent in the left in April. Apparently the left was almost completely blocked and this was caught in the nick of time. Last week I had to have a stent put into my left iliac artery also. One of my doctors suggested the lap band and thought that I would qualify because of these medical issues. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had major medical issues and had this done. What were the outcomes? Thanks
