  1. Hello everyone, I had my band placed in 2002 and had problems ever sense. I lost 80 pounds to gain it back after my saline was all taken out. Then it slipped and replaced . Next I'm having all types of erosion acid build up and vomiting everyday. I went in to ask to take it out my original surgeon said risky so I got a second opinion. I received a revision on last Tuesday but there was to much scar tissue and he had to carve the band from my liver and other places. He said it was the worse case he had ever seen and he could not do the RNY and I may never be able to. This was due to the scaring internally. Has any one had there band removed and was able to be switched over to another. If so if your in Chicago can you give me any help please
