  1. I was told that if a person has diabetes and gets banded, that it would help and they could come off their meds. I was taken off the meds the day before I had my surgery (01/19/12) because the pills are too big to swallow, but now it seems like my glucose levels are staying too high. I'm not eating bad, no sugar & low carbs. Can anyone that has diabetes tell me if they were able to stay off the meds? If not, what are you taking?

  3. Thanks everyone for all the information. Guess I just worry too much. Good luck to everyone!
  4. Hi everyone! Wish I had found this site a long time ago. I had my surgery on 01/19/12 and have lost 9 1/2 lbs so far, but most of it was within the first couple of days. I haven't lost anything during this last week even though I was on clear liquids for a week and creamy liquids since Thurs. Should I be losing more or is this the norm? I am scheduled for my first fill on 02/01/12 and hope that it will help. Any advice is appreciated.
