  1. Well I am now 12 days out of surgery. I couldn't do it anymore so this morning I made myself 1 scrambled egg and it was like eating a big piece of cake. LOL It went down fine and I didn't have any problems with it. I see the Dr. tomorrow and I'm hoping he will tell me to go ahead and eat my soft food diet. I started at the gym last week and i have been going and walking on the treadmill and riding the bike. It actually feels good to exercise. I have lost 17 lbs so far and I actually had someone tell me today that I looked great. That is always nice to hear. I still have my hunger pains but they aren't as bad as before. I will let you know how my Dr's appt goes tomorrow. Stay focused everyone it will be well worth it in the end.
  2. Hello well I had my surgery on Jan. 11, 2012 and I'm at the point now where I have the gas pains and hunger pains. I don't really have surgery pain anymore but I keep taking my pain meds so I can sleep. Sleeping is the best way for me to get through the 2 weeks of liquids. I am having trouble getting my protein and water in and I usually like pudding and jello but right about now I can't bring my self too eat it. I think it is all just in my head that I really need to chew somehthing. On a brighter note I have lost 5 lbs since my surgery. I know I will get through this I just have to find something to take my mind off of eating.
