  1. Hello all. I had my surgery on 12/12 and I just went in for my check up with the doc. He says everything is great and that I have lost 20 lbs since I went in to see him before the surgery. I had a bit of trouble with the pain meds in the hospital. Made me really sick the first night. Once they straightened that out I was okay. Just ready to come home and take a loooooong shower (which I did). The first week of liquids only drove me crazy. I got to the point that everything made me want to barf. Now that I have added some actual food I feel 100% better. I'm trying to remember to drink my water!!!!! Hopefully the lbs. will come off in due time. I'm trying not to become obsessed with the scale, so I don't weight everyday.
