  1. I was only banded 6 days ago and am freezing!! My feet and hands are frozen. I know I'm only drinking liquids and have no food (I mean fuel) intake - that may be why...
  2. Om my God I am so happy to see this. I was banded on 12/29 and had a dream last night about steak. I miss chewing and swallowing something bulk. No one told me to do this but I bought shredded fat free cheddar cheese, picked out 5 strands (yes 5 strands) and chewed on it til it disappeared. Just the chewing and the flavor helped me - and there was nothing to swallow! I can't wait until week 3 since my week 2 is yogurt and farina. Week 3 - egg beaters!!!!! Yay!
  3. My doc only required me having liquids 24 hours before the surgery. Others say their doc wanted longer. I am doing ok though - not hungry but miss chewing... Are you having surgery soon?
  4. Hey all - I am new to the forum. I just had my banding on 12/29/11 - 4 days ago. I have lost 13 lbs already but realize it is all water (actually can vouch it is all water). My doctor was great and explained everything to me before my suergery and to my wife right afterwards. I started at 342.5 and my goal is 200. I really will depend on this forum as I have questions and need support. Hope everyone is doing well and has a great new year.
  5. Hi all. I was just banded on 12/29. So far so good - starting to get tired of the liquids. Also having a hard time taking my pills. Otherwise ok - lost 13 pounds, I feel like I cant have another water or ice pop or jello.. I'll get through it but man it's hard.
