I went to Ponce de Leon, Dec. 10, 2010..down 92 lbs. No problems, paid $4500. Paid my own airfare. Hospital Jerusalem is a large clinic setting, small rooms, but they take good care of you. You move to the Condo when you feel well enough and it is nice. Great Price, and I didn't have a lot to spend. No regrets here. I don't know what INT is...you may want to clarify exactly where your surgery will take place with your coordinator. Last year when I was there, he was performing surgery in the same clinic with Almanza. I met Almanza too. I was petrified too, but here I am a year out (almost) and A-OK. -

4 days away from my 1 year anniversary...doing well and feel great! Down a total of 92 lbs with absolutely no problems, except if I take that one bite too many...then I feel awful and have to vomit. You will quickly learn when to quit! lol Nothing like driving down the road and having to tell your husband to pull over now! Would I do it again? Absolutely! Happy Holidays Everyone! -

OMG, I have been nervous everyday since I decided to do this and I am waiting until December 10th to do this! My boyfriend comes home from work last night and has to tell me one of his coworker's wife died of gastric bypass last week and they were taking donations. Made me even more nervous.. He has really been trying to scare me out of doing this. I do realize there are risks, that is one of the reasons I decided on the sleeve instead of the bypass.I was going to ask you if you got references for Dr. Ponce de Leon and if you have talked to anyone that has used him? I work full time and attend college full time and don't have much time for research. Talk to ya soon!
