  1. Thank u, I'll make an update. I don't think it reflux. The pain starts while I'm eating or it gets worse after I eat.
  2. No its not under the shoulder blade..its on top close to my neck.
  3. I'm 7wks post op and I've been experiencing pain in my left shoulder after I eat for over a week now. It hurts when I breath. I don't know if its gas or a muscle. My Dr wants me to have an upper GI done to make sure I don't have a leak. I don't have the symptoms of a leak but she wants to make sure. Has anyone had this problem?
  4. I make this all the time but I don't use margarine or crackers. I use different meats, like ground turkey or sausage. I also add spinach. Its a good way to get some vegs in...
  5. Add me to myfitnesspal Username mzthickone
  6. I'm going back to work after a week also. I'm not sure how I'm going feel, being I move, and bend a lot. If I get too tired or start hurting, I'll just take off a few more days..

  8. Its from the gas that is pump into the stomach, so the dr can see inside. Its a common side effect ...it can be very painful.
  9. Wow u were in the hospital that many days? I left the hospital on Wed and I hadn't passed gas yet. They still let me go home, since I was doing good.
  10. I haven't had a bm yet. Surgery was on Tues. Its normal. But I'm going to get some milk of magnesium today to help it along.
  11. How are u feeling? Make sure u walk, walk, and walk..its the key to faster recovery and less pain.
  12. Revision is when the lap band is removed and the sleeve is done. You've been revised.
  13. Thanks, make sure you really want the band b4 u do it.
  14. Sorry your still in pain. Some people go through things differently. Yes each day it gets better. Feel better, and walk, walk, and walk. It'll help with pain.
  15. So I had my revision yesterday and I'm feeling good. No nausea, no pain, no gas. I've been walking around with no problems. Despite the circumstances, I think I'm doing quite well. The dr took about a 1hr n half bcuz I had a lot of scar tissue and a hilated hernia. The hernia was so bad that it cause my stomach walls to become very thin. So I'm on liquids for a month and puree for almost a month. Its going to be hard, but I have to do what I have to do. So glad I did the revision. I'm ready for the bright future.
  16. Hello all, I had my revision and hernia repair yesterday evening and I'm feeling pretty good. I've been moving around since about midnight. No major pain. Could be the morphine helping. Good to everyone who has surgery coming up..
