  1. NewlyReborn-How are you feeling since surgery?
  2. I have heard that you can go hyper after. Your endo will need to check your levels during weight loss because meds often need adjustments.
  3. That’s great mizzkp. I am 4 weeks out and I’ve lost 25 lbs and over 20 inches. I haven’t lost in a week so I’m a bit frustrated but I’ve heard there’s a 3rd week stall. I am so relieved that the scale is going down as well.
  4. Thank you for replying. This is comforting to hear. I think 40 lbs in 7 weeks is pretty good. I would be thrilled. I did hear we may lose the weight slower than others wig regular thyroid.
  5. I am curious if anyone had a full thyroidectomy prior to weight loss surgery? I had my thyroid removed in 2018 and it is near impossible to lose even a pound. I've tried low carb and exercising regularly but I only lost 2 lbs in 4 months. I am so worried that after my surgery which is tomorrow morning, that I won't lose anything. Please let me know if you have success or not with the sleeve.
