  1. Yes, the doc told me to take gas x. I am feeling so much better today. took a shower for the 1st time since surgery...that alone can make you feel like a new person. I need to get my stats and pics up (will try that soon) but just to let you know...I am 35, live in Huntsville, Alabama and weighed in at 275 on my pre-op visit 1 week before surgery. I have no idea where I am at now...I need a scale. As soon as I can get out of the house, I plan to buy one. Thankfully no sharts yet...but I'm sure it's bound to happen...all I have had for nearly a week is liquid...eating broth and popsicles, i hate water...found Sobe brand lifewater...it tastes pretty good. It sucks that I will miss out on the holiday food...but i keep positive by thinking about cute clothes!! hope all is well with you today.
  2. Hello!! I had my surgery on the 19th as well, and the exact same story for me!! Ended us staying an extra day at the hospital because i couldn't keep anything down. Every time I would doze off, some stupid piece of equipment started beeping...so I am thrilled to be home and get some rest finally! Let's keep up with each other...and see how things go. I feel better but have a rumble in my tummy that wont stop. Did they advise you to take anything for gas??
  3. Ahhh!! I know how you feel! Having surgery on Dec 19th and have not had a smoke in a week. I'm doing the e-cig thing too, and I hate it!! I was like a junkie last week...digging through the ashtray that we keep outside for a hint of tobacco left. Pretty pathetic....but then I ask myself, which do I want more...to be thin, or a smoker... Do you know how long it takes to get nicotine out of your system??
