crushingstorm reacted to transforming jlaroux in Pouch Stretching InformationYou probably don't have a fill yet! There is little to no restriction prior to a fill. your tummy was swollen which is why you initially had restriction, now that it has gone down, you are back to pre-surgery tummy. Take this time prior to your first fill to heal, not worry about weight loss. Follow your doctor's orders, your tummy is not stretched.

PLEASE DRINK. I went to my company holiday party two weeks post op and was doing shots of vodka, felt great. Don't sweat it. Don't buy into all of these post about CALORIES and such , just enjoy everything you can. A few drinks will not hurt. And if your stomach starts hurting (it may) just stop.

Yes i eat everything in small amts. However, I was very strict for first few months. You are just starting your journey& many people have struggled with slow weight loss,so my opinion still remains .. wait awhile before you treat yourself.By the way I don't count calories,I eat regular food & go out to dinner 3X/week

Do you guys NEVER have a drink or anything with empty calories? I am really fascinated by this. I am doing really great with the band and expect to keep doing so, but I am still doing to enjoy life. When my son turns 3 in April, I will have cake, but I won't eat a piece the size of texas this time. I got the band to help me control my poritons which it completely does. I don't eat 1/4 of what I used to, SERIOULSY not even a 1/4. But I am not doing to use this to control me. I control it and my eating.
I dont mean to offend, but this band is for me to help not eat enough for 3 people. I didn't get fat from a twinkie. I got fat from eating a box of them.
Just my two cents.
