I have been lucky enough to have my Whole Family on my side with this if it wernt for them i probably would have backed out cuz i am a lil scared but im sure it's normal they push me everyday and are very sportive! ......But you need to do what you know is best for you your fam is just scared that something will go wrong and dont understand What is most important is yourself and you need to take care of your first dont let anyone bring you down cuz no one really knows how we struggle everyday with our obisity and its easy for them to judge....... if this is what you really want you go girl and get ur VSG!

I'm and Aug sleever myself Aug.28th is my big day with dr.krahn in san Bernardino cali. all of you are before me so pls keep me updated and how everything goes I will have a million questions...lol we will be reborn in the month of Aug...exciting!!!!

I'm bearly starting I have my pre-op appointment on Aug 16 and my surgery is the 28th and I'm currently starting to diet n loose 15+ before my pre-op apointment and I like to know which are the best shakes out there that I can buy and the clear protein also for when I start my clear liquid diet.....and after surgery? HELP!

Okay so I read a few things havnt seen any questions about a drain my question is how long do they leave it and is it unconfterble? ....I'm new btw my sergery is AUG.28th 2012 I'm so excited I start my liquid diet till Aug 16th I'm currently trying to loose 15lbs before the16th dr orders ....

OKay SO IM new to this site!! EEKK im so excited!! ne how i was going to get the lap-band about 2yrs ago but my personal life got in the way and i ended up not doing it...so just Nov 2011 I went to a seminar with my mind set on lap-band but once i spoke to my surgeon he suggested gastric NO WAY JOSE!!! i do not want the gastric bypass! my goals are to be a cake decorator and baker and bypass i cannot eat one bit of sugar plus not even all the mal-nutrition that u get NOP! not me.... and he said what about the sleeve at first i was afraid about more than half of my stomach will be gone n leaks freaked me out!!! but he put me at ease and was great i felt like i could trust him n i know im in good hands..... SO i had to go trough a lot of blood work and test and FINALLY i got a call about 2 weeks ago that my insurance APPROVED ME!!! YAY!!! so i have me pre-op consultation on Aug 16 and my surgery will be Aug.28TH!!!! WHOOO i am ecstatic but scared and excited OMG SO MANY MIXED FEELINGS! i mean my life will change FOREVER!!!! but i know it is for the besT! but ne waysssss I would like to know what is the best protein to drink on my 2 week clear liquid diet!???!!

I had started the lapband about a year ago with beverly hills physicians but I had a few personal problems so it did not fall through but I really want to get it done and closer to home. beverly hills is too far. can anyone pls help me???
