  1. I had chicken and beef broth after a couple days which added protein. My doctor stresses protein all the time from pre to post and still now 6 months later. After a week I was back to protein shakes then soft foods. They say your new stomach is like a babies so from liquids touch to soft foods then you learn what you can and can not eat. Bananas and fries do not work at all for me (even baked kind).
  2. Sorry, presurgery... I've only had one, lol.
  3. I was "banded" 6 months ago. It is a really long, slow process and it absolutely gets frustrating. I don't think I am in the green zone yet but I am very close. I lost 15 lbs per surgery and gained 10 back within 2 months. Since then I have only lost 3-4 lbs. I do work out a few times a week and watch what I eat but I still eat too much. I do get very frustrated but I am starting to see light at the end of this very long and dark tunnel. I hope my story helps you a little. Hang in there! Good luck!
