  1. Hello, I'm Missy and I just found this site. My surgery is scheduled for January 24th, 2012. I'm a SAHM to a 5 and 7 yr old and now I have no more freaking excuses as to losing weight. I'm so excited for my surgery date. Very few people know that I am getting the lap band surgery done. I think it's probably from embarrassment or something?? Did you guys go thru that? Everyone who I have told has been supportive except for my MIL....she's kinda like Marie on Everyone Loves Raymond, but I disgress....that's another thread So glad I found this forum!!
