  1. I am newly banded 12/27/06, best thing I ever did for myself. I have been looking for a support/chat site for lapbanders, I have one for my pacemaker and the information and support have been awesome. Good luck to all you future banders, I hope your experience is as good as mine has been so far. I was scared to death because I have a pretty bad heart problem and some other health issues, but I realized if I didn't make a change, I would not be around much longer anyway. So, I prayed real hard and God did the rest. I have lost 37 pounds and my energy level is amazing! I never thought I would ever feel this good again. I have four kids, a husband and a full time job. This has taken some planning and some work, but has really been easy, and did I mention my energy level?? I feel great! Anyway, good luck to everyone.
