  2. I was sleeved last Thursday, July 11th. Honestly, the dry mouth was the WORST part for me. My nutritionist recommended taking a wash cloth and wetting it, then wiping your mouth with it. This was a life saver! I took two in a ziploc bag (didn't want them laying around on the counters). I also brushed my teeth and gargled every time I got up. I packed my makeup, hair dryer, etc, but please......they didn't even make it out of the suitcase! :-) Good luck to you!!

  4. Hi! I'm very new here. This is actually my first official post. I've been stalking for awhile and thinking about doing this surgery for about a year and a half and I'm finally ready! I have my surgery on Thursday and I seriously.cannot.wait. Any suggestions from anyone about how to make the hospital stay/first days home more comfortable? Thanks for any advice you can give me!
  5. HI! I'm new here, too. First post, actually. I'm currently on Day 12 of the Pre-op diet and I'm down 12.5 pounds so far. My surgery is THIS Thursday and I'm so excited I can barely stand it. I've done all the research I can and now I'm just ready to get this show on the road!! I've had numerous friends have the surgery done by my surgeon, so I feel very confident. I've started a blog, keeping track of my stats and food diary since the first day of the pre-op diet, if you're interested: http://myverticalgastricsleevejourney.blogspot.com/. Good luck to you!!
