  1. :nervous So I just set up my very first appt to see if I am able to do the Lap-Band. I am kind of nervous but also excited. I have 2 co-workers that have gotten the gastric bypass surgery but I am positive that I cannot have that kind of surgery. I will be going to Dr. Felix in Fresno, CA. Since I have an 8 hour drive to his office his staff was kind enough to get my 3 appts on the same day for the Nutritionist, the Psychologist, and then the Doctor. I am not really sure what to expect. I guess I am just looking for support. My parents who were both born in Mexico and are really traditional are not really sure why I am even thinking of having this surgery. My husband is supportive though. My parents, husband, and a couple of co-workers are the only ones that know I am thinking of having the surgery. So I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I hope to make some friends here.
