  1. I am also new here, just had my surgery October 17th and yes I did have an upper GI 24 hours after surgery. Nothing to it except for the horrible liquid to drink. Took about 5 minutes total and after it was reviewed I was allowed to go home. Good luck.
  2. Thank you for the encouragement. Did you lose a lot so far?
  3. We camp in Franklinville am I correct that you are near there? Good luck to you also
  4. Thanks, I needed to hear that. It was getting pretty discouraging. Good luck to you.
  5. Well I am definitely freaking out with them and you are right it's mostly because I am trying to get in the liquids. I'm letting everything go to room temp and it does seem better. Thanks so much.
  6. Hi, I had my surgery on October 17th in Buffalo NY. My surgeon was Dr. Pham from Synergy Bariatrics. I have to say that my hospital stay was different then I nexpected. Private room, bathroom. The staff was exceptional. Right now I am 4 days out and still having bad spasms. The pain is pretty much gone but the spasms are a real trip. The bad news is when I get on the scale I still have the 7 lb weight gain I brought hoe fromthe hospital which seems unreal since all I have been taking in is water and crystal lite. This morning I actually got a 4 oz. liquified protien shake down and so far no nausea. I am taking this as a very good sign that things are getting better. I just want to see that scale move. Good luck to all. I am so glad to have this forum.
  7. Thanks everyone for the support. I wish all of you luck.
  8. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has been getting really bad spams everytime they drink. It feels like when you drink something really cold very fast. I have treid drinking very slowly and very little but it doesn't seem to help. The worst part is trying to swallow the pills I have to take. Not enough water and I gag and too much water and it hurts like heck.
