  1. I am one month post op and so far to date I have lost 20lbs with no saline in my band. I am super excited however nervous that when I begin real food the weight is going to pile back on. Can anyone give friendly feedback to ease my mind? I go for my first fill on 11/16/11 and have noticed over the last week I am a bottomless pitt, I am walking 3 miles 4 times/week and am sticking to the guidelines.... Would like to know ppl's stories.
  2. :-) thank u.... this morning I had a hot choc protein mix.... something different. I def don't think im getting enought protein. Where do u get the isolate protein, right now I have flavorless unjury (but in reality it smells funny... mind tricks r great at this stage!
  3. Today I started my day knowing I've lost 17 lbs since 9 day preop diet to 1 wk post op. I had such hunger pains tonight I cheated and ate 1/2 cup of puree mac n cheese and 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes and topped it off with a hershey kiss....ughh what did I do? how is every1 curbing hunger and over coming weakness?
  4. I was banded 3 days ago also.... saw my surgeon last night with the exact symptoms. He released more residual saline from the band and I feel 75% better. :-) he advised me in rare cases the band is too tight causing epigastric pain.
