  1. HI YES HAD SURGERY 1/23 IN BURLINGTON U?
  2. THANK YOU that helps, I'm learningt o let go of the guilt and frustration and just get on with it! Glad you're doing well! To New Start & Broadway Baby: Do you happen to remember how many vsg's your hospital has done? I'm getting a little nervouse about that fact that my hospital has only done FIVE, and am wondering if I should look into a different hospital where they have more experience doing them.
  3. Hi Mishmish- I saw your post about Boston surgeons from a while ago, wondering if you found anyone? I'm in your same situation, looking into Lahey in Burlington but they've only done 5!
  4. eh...ok, I gained weight in my 3 months supervised diet UGHHH, but I'm back down to where I was at consultation. My last meeting the NP said I'm "not ready" and she was probably right...but I so want to be ready! I am so in fora regional get together! How are you feeling, a little over a week out?
  5. it's cool u had a female surgeon! haven't seen that before
  6. Awesome, good to know there are locals out there, thanks guys!
  7. Hi There! I live north of boston and am planning on having surgery at Lahey in Burlington *hopefully* in December. It's been a long slow process with them but I think it's been good or me, mentally. Great to hear from some locals who are doing so well! Lahey has only done 5 of these procedures for the purpose of weight loss (but they say lots and lots for other reasons like ulcers and stomach cancer!) Any advice for pre-sleevers? I'm so happy I read up before I ended up going with the lap-band...sleevers seem much much happier.
  8. Hi there- I am from the area, not sleeved yet but hoping to be soon. Feel free to message me...this is my first post!
