see, im still worried, because i can eat a whole SF pudding pack. :n ( IDK. I did over do it today, i feel like there is a knot in my throat..like im about to bring up what i ate..Its tricky trying to get to know your new stomach. I just hope im not stretching out my little stomach.

My story is just about the same as yours. I lost 12 lbs in the first week of surgery, today is day 12, and i have lost nothing since my one week mark. I have been so incredibly upset..BUTTT fining this thread, and reading the article RickM posted has made me feel SOOOO much better! i cant wait to get over this stall, but now i actually feel like I will..Like im right on track. Which, is what another great guy had posted on my blog the other day. He said its actually a GOOD thing. Good luck to you! This too shall pass..

Thanks guys! Its hard not to let it get you down..but I'm gonna try to keep my head up, and listen to PDxMan! Perhaps i will stop weighing myself every stinkin day too! :n X

So here I am on day 11 post-op. In the first seven days I lost over 10 lbs. the last 4 days, i have not lost a thing. :n ( Im so dissapointed, i feel like im doing something wrong... I always seemed to get stuck at 236, on every diet I went on, and here is 236 again. not budging. It just dosen't make sense to me, i barely eat a thing, i get in all my fluids and protien..im pretty bummed today.

OMG! Im less than two weeks out and the scale is stuck at nearly the same spot for me!! I could never get under 236 on any diet I tried..It was like a curse for me. Now, after being sleeved, the curse is back again..Im scared to death...

It does make sense! I think most of us feel that way...I sure did. Im 8 days post op, and am down 12.2lbs! and guess what? Im still worried it wont work!! Lol, it sonds crazy, but its my truest emotion right now. Outside of the fustration I have with wanting to eat things around me, though I physically can not. Its a hard transititon...but it will work! Try to stay positive!!

I feel much better<3 I was really worried..like "NOOOOO that crazy reacurring pre op dream i kept having, came trueee!!!" i kept dreaming that i worke up in recovery, with my surgeon, and many other doctors around me, talking about what a medical mystery I was, with my stomach growing back..UGG! Sounds so irrational..Thanks for bringing me back down to reality!! <3

Last night I made some beef broth, sat in frount of the tv with my family, and over a 20 minute period, I had eaten the whole cup!! I've been so worried, I though i could only eat 2 ounces at a time..a cup is EIEGHT! i kept having these dreams that my stomach just grew right back after surgery, and this certainly didnt make it feel any less impossible. does anyone have any insight for me? please tell me im crazy...

Yes! we will most sertainly have to keep up with each other! Im pretty much with out gas pain now, but i have read about some people taking gas x. Id check with the doc first though. Oh man, i keep getting rumbling in my lower stomach..BOY, can that be surprsing..in the way or "leakage" or how ever the correct way of saying sharting..lol! I dont know if that what you mean, but thats where i am!! haha! Hope your feeling better today! today is def better than yesterday for me! <3

your surgery date is going to sneak up on you QUICK! dont beat yourself u about not making the changes yet..First, its your frame of mind that matters. it might even take after another appoinment with the Dietician. You'll find yourslef looking at thing differently while shopping, or browsing your cabinets. The change takes time! I took me about six months as well, and i was sleeved on the 19th, just a fe days ago..and im telling you, it flew by!! You will get cuaght up in the day to day grind, and the next thing you know, youll be laying in your bed going, "I can't BELIEVE its tomorrow!" Keep your head up love!

So, My sleeve was done on 12-19-11..I was suppose to come home the very next day..but due to the fact that i was soooo nauseous, and couldnt hold anything down, i had to stay another night. The gas pains were awful, and throwing up blood mixed with bile certainly was a highlighted moment either. BUT, Im home. I hardly had any sleep in the hospital, and am looking forward to climbing in my big ole bed this evening. I feel much better than I did, though, im still nauseated at times. The smell of things are getting to me as well..almost like when i was preggers, and had the nose of a blood hound. lol! Im still so scared that this isnt going to work for me, its so sureal. But im excited to prove myself wrong!

I totally cheated on the pre-op diet today.. :n ( Its day number six, and i ate pizza. I felt like I was starving to death, dizzy and nauseous . It was all I ate all day...I didnt do the shakes or anything else, figured it was more then enough calories in the pizza. i guess Ill pick up where I left off tomorrow..tsk tsk. Has anyone else cheated, and willing to talk about it?
