  1. Thank you for the encouraging words. I'am so ready to have this surgery. I actually wish that I had the sleeve instead of the band. I will definitely Keep you posted and picking your brain with question. (lol)
  2. Hi, I am new to the group. I currently have the lapband and will be revised by Dr Fontana in Norfolk. I have heard that sometimes the Dr can not remove the band and do the sleeve at the same time due to the amount of the scar tissue on your stomach caused by the band. Is this true? also can they see how much scar tissue you have when you do the barium swallow?
