Yes the tube is definitely part of it and they repaired a hernia too, so I think its a combination of everything. Its nice to know its normal and thank you for replying. It's nice to have people to talk to about this that has experienced the same procedure. Tonya

Hi I just had my surgery friday the 30th. I need to know if this is normal. Everytime I swallow even my own saliva it hurts soooo bad! Every time I swallow I feel like a burp is coming up but it gets stuck and feels like its going to explode and wont come out! I keep getting like indigestion hiccups! Please give me advice!
