  1. i would say it was there before my surgery and now the band is making it worse
  2. i too like many people have been throwing up in the middle of the night. VERRRYYY scarry!!!!! drank the chalk and the dr saw a large hernia. vomiting is getting worse. he sugested hernia repair and while in there tweek my band a bit. i went to a gastro dr for opinion and she said that i should get my hernia repaired. i asked if i remove the band would it help/stop my vomiting. she said yes but she feels that i need to fix the hernia and re-do the band because at one time i was loosing weight. (at a standstill right now) she said the surgery is basicly the same as when i had the lap-band inserted. it scares me because of horror storied i have heard at work. did anyone out there had a hernia repaired and a reajustment of the band with no problem? thanks
