  1. Lapband in Toronto/GTA area covered by OHIP ?

    Hi everyone I've heard that OHIP will cover Lapband in Ontario if you have a BMI of 40+, or if you have a BMI of 35-40 with special circumstances relating to weight. Every center I contact says they do not do it through OHIP. Anyone know what the process is or who I can contact ? Thanks I'm going through a wicked divorce, and barely have money to put food on the table, and cannot afford to take my ex to court (he believes I deserve nothing, so as a result he hasn't given me my share of the house, or payments for the children)...I'm stuck !
