Go and see the videos you made this will remind you now why you had this surgery. My daughter asked me why did i choose my name caterpiller i explained that this is how i feel now with my weight. Than when i loose it i will become a beautiful butterfly. Right now you need support say how you really feel also if your friends have not gone thru this journey they do not know how it feels. I am so happy to find your post here i have seen your videos in you tube and now i found you here. I'm pre-op I go see the surgeon on 1-5-12 surgery date 1-18-12. I am still nervous it is major surgery and who knows how your body is going to react. I reside in Tampa Florida. My surgeon is Dr. Alfredo Fernandez. How long was your surgery?

Today I had the visit with the dietician she is awesome. When I was in the waiting room this young girl came in talking to the office staff about her mothers surgery went bad. The patient had gastro bypass and she had really bad complications. Imagine I got scared. I am having the vertical sleeve I weight 258 I am 5'5" and 40 years old. I cannot tell you how scare I am whats going to happen. I just tell myself i also live everyday scare of other deseases i can get from been overweight. May God be with us.
