Pictures of me as I lose weight....slowly but surely I'm getting there.
  2. Hey Everybody! My name is for this website PrincessMiri. I have told NO ONE, except my husband, my mom and my sister that I even got lap-banded. I started going to my Surgeon in December of 2010 but, I had a health scare that put my lap-band on hold for a few months so, I just got the lap-band on October 17. When I weighed in last year I weighed 287 lbs. When I weighed in before my surgery I weighed 256 which is a weight loss of 31 lbs. Why did I decide to have the lap band surgery? I did it because at this point in my life I am so overweight that I am unable to have children because of the problems that go along with being overweight. I have been overweight ALL my life so I can't lie I would love to know what it feels like to be a healthy weight, (and look sexy too!). So four days in and I feel okay. I do have quite of pain at night so I can't sleep very well but other than that I feel okay. I am not hungry at all and I am scared to eat too much because I don't want to throw up! As for my personal life I have been married for five years, to the most wonderful man on the earth. I could not have done this surgery without his support. He always encourages me to chase after my dreams and is willing to work with me to accomplish them. I am very blessed to have him in my life! I am currently finishing my degree in business and am looking forward to the journey of my new "lap-banded" life!
