So, I'm new and never thought I'd find myself here.  Mixed emotions....sad, mad, happy, excited.  I'm mad that I let myself get this way.....well, I've been heavy most of my life.  Happy because I've finally decided to do this and excited because I want the REAL me to come out!  I've had 2 cancers and had my thyroid removed 2 years ago.  Since then I can't lose a pound.  I've talked to my doctors and they have run blood work and they tell me "your just fine".  So, here I am getting ready to be reborn sort of speak.  I have 3 very active and althletic children that I feel bad because I'm so tired all the time and I feel bad that my husband has to have an overweight wife.  So, here I am starting the process.  Hopefully I will have my surgery by the end of November.  I'm hoping this site will provide me the courage to get through this and the support I'm sure I'm going to need!!
