  1. Question-I have not used a straw since being banded because I was told not to but on my blog today someone said they never heard that rule before........do you guys drink out of straws?
  2. Does anyone have any good band friendly snack ideas?
  3. Mine gurlges too, I always thinking of it as the food getting passed through slowly!
  4. I started doing Zumba a few weeks ago at Curves. But at the Curves near me they hav actual Zumba classes and you don't have to be a member, you can just pay a drop in fee. I am a horrible dancer and have no rythmn but everyone is very supportive and you can catch on and as the instructor told me who cares if you can't do every step as long as you are sweating!
  5. If you eat something and it is stuck or just doesn't feel right how do you fix the situation?
  6. I was banded three months ago and have loss a solid 22 lbs, 25 or 26 on a good day. I was hoping for more but am also happy with the loss. I have had two fills and am scheduled for another one in 3 weeks. I do not feel restriction so much in feeling full but have to eat slowly or get stuck with certain foods. Last week I started exercising more so I'm hoping that helps but am interested in the rate of weight loss others have experienced (i know everyones different) and what feel restricted really feels like in terms of weight loss?
  7. After stumbling across some blogs I found them really helpful especially chronicles from band land so I started my own and kind of view it as a journal and hopefully a good way to look back on things in years to come, I haven't shared it with more than my mom and two friends but here it is http://bandedoctober11.blogspot.com/ Does anyone have any recommendations for other blogs to read?
  8. Is anyone in the Boston area?
