  1. Hi there, I'm on day 3 post op and each day gets easier. Yesterday I was truly ready to call it quits and have the dr take this band out ASAP!! Today I woke up feeling a lot better and with a more positive attitude. I get like that sometimes. I have a loving, supportive hubby but bcuz he doesn't have weight issues he just can't relate. Soooo, I'm looking for a mentor preferable in NYC, but doesn't have to be. We can start with just emails, phone call, texts, etc and as we become more comfy with each other we can eventually meet up (long term goal). Just someone that I can talk to when I'm feeling low or sad or hungry, lol!! Females only please <3
  2. thanks everyone!!! Day-3 post op is a little better than day-2 (thank God). I've been taking the liquid tylenol w/ codeine but bcuz I know its a habit forming drug I really only take it when needed. I'm not big on pain meds either. Oh and the gas is the worst part. I went to the movies last night and was so embarrassed my stomach kept going off like a grenade!! Who knew LOL
  3. 31 yr old female from Brooklyn, NYC!! I 2 days post-op and still in a lot of pain. I'm excited about what's to come but nervous at the same time. If anyone can share their experiences with me so that I know I'm not alone in this I'd really appreciate it. Is everyone in a lot of pain the first few days post-op? HELP lol
