Hmmm I had a story here before, but had to reset my password and it was eaten! LOL
I am 45 years young. I am married to a wonderfully supportive man and between us we have 6 kids! I have always maintained that I was born a size 16 cause I can never remember being any smaller than that! Both my sisters and my mom have also spent their lives overwieght. I presently do fulltime care for my mom, who has diabetes, cpod, heart disease and severe arthritis. She had to have open heart surgery to replace 2 valves in her heart that were deformed from childhood illness. As I have watched her struggle to recover from her surgery 2 years ago and regain her strength it has given me a serious wake up call about what I want for myself and my family in future. My kids are pretty much grown, all in college, and I am looking forward to becoming a grandmother! I want to be a fun grandmother! One who can go to the park and go down the slide and roll on the floor with her grandkids! I realized if I don't do something right now that that future will not be mine. My younger sister had ruex and y surgery 2 years ago now, and is feeling and looking great! Now it is my turn to change my life and I am sooooo looking forward to this next journey in life with arms open wide and a joyful heart! I would love to make some friends here and hopefully some support buddies!
