I am a busy mom of one, and wife to a husband with a demanding schedule, not to mention I work a full time job and try to stay active in my daughter's school and the community. My daughter is involved into everything, Volleyball, Cross Country, Dance, Theatre, etc.... I have let my life get a little out of control, and lost focus on myself. I have been on a up and down rollar coaster with my weight, Weight Watchers works great. I have in the last 6 years lost 100 lbs in a year, and gained it back when life got crazy. Come January a few years later, I would start again and loose about 50 lbs, and put it back on. I have a great support system from my husband, and he would do anything to help me, but I have come to the conclusion I need to do something more than Weight Watchers to help with my life style change, because I know the correct things to eat but I need a reminder of portion control.
I had my appendix removed form Dr. S in October 2010, and after talking to him I decided to at least consider and learn more about weight loss surgery. I was never big till I had my daughter and became a wife. I was active, played Volleyball, softball, golf, etc....and the more weight I put on the less I played anything till I only play golf about twice a year now.
