  1. I had surgery in October 2010 and have done quite well. I am 53 now and have lost almost 50 lbs with about 8-11 lbs to go. My father in-law age 69 5"7 270# had surgery in Feb 2011, the surgeon nicked his stomach and failed to catch the bleed. Within 24 hours of surgery he was septic, had multiple surgeries over the next 30 days. He passed away 35 days after surgery, surgeries were done by different surgeons in different cities and hospitals.
  2. Hi every one, I was banded Oct 26 2010 Started at 258 and am down to 215 ten months out. I have been hanging around the 220-215 level for a good three months, I am working out and have restriction, (went back 10 days ago for a 0.5cc fill). A couple of questions, my wieght is floating between as low as 213 and up to 220 within a matter of days, this has repeated several times, any thoughts? I am drinking de-cafinated Iced tea sweetened with splenda, do I need to shift to straight Water? Any other thoughts on how to get back on track, I would like to shed 10 more pounds by my 1 year mark I have only 9-10 weeks. Regards
