    I will be "Banded" at Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis on April 2nd. Close to April Fool's Day, but you all know I'm no FOOL in having this procedure. I have lots of habits to break and will need lots of support from you. Thanks for being there for all of us!

    Hi Everybody! This is my first post and I'm so glad you're all here for me! I'm a 55-year-old second grade teacher in Minneapolis. I'll be meeting with my surgeon in Feb. 22 to schedule my surgery for, hopefully, early April. I'd welcome any advice about what I should be doing already to prepare--both physically and emotionally. Thanks, and I look forward to learning from YOU--the experts!
