  1. It has been a little over two years since I have had my surgery and I still have difficulty with eating and drinking when I am stressed out. I was really glad to see that I am not the only person that faces this problem. I have since had some fluid removed in order to help me at least be able to get fluids in but still have problems when I am stressed. The only thing that I have found that works is trying to decompress and do the best to take the stress out of my life. When I am able to calm myself down and relax I find that I am able to eat and drink with no problem. Good Luck!
