  1. I had the lapband in 2008 and everything went wonderfully the first 7 months. I lost 65 pounds during that time. Since then I have gained 40 back. I am afraid to even go see my surgeon; to be honest I am a little scared of his reaction to not seeing me in SOOOOO long. I almost want to go see another surgeon in a city over and start fresh. My husband is currently in Iraq and I would love to loose 90 pounds during the year he is gone, but I have no motivation to do anything. I had even thought about using weight loss pills to jump start my weightloss. I am embarrased to tell people that I had weight loss surgery because you could truly never tell. I am beginning to wish I would have had gastric instead of the lapband just because I have seen such drastic weight loss in my friends that had the other and they are able to eat anything and everything they want. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
